Where Fencing Flourishes.
Reshaping Hong Kong’s fencing together.
HK Elite Fencing offers private lessons and group lessons for all levels of fencing, all blades, across all ages.
Create a strong foundation in fencing while building a strong identity, self-esteem and discipline.
Blades
While each blade varies in rules and style, the same attributes make a good fencer: footwork, bladework, technique, strategy, balance, flexibility, discipline - and most of all, motivation.
Saber
Sabre touches can be scored by making contact with the opponent’s upper body, and doesn’t require thrusting like the other two. This makes Sabre typically the most footwork intensive, with their bouts also being the shortest.
Foil
Foil is the most common starting weapon. The foil is the lightest and most precise blade, with scoring only obtainable through stabbing the torso. It contains bladework and an understanding of rules that translates well to the other two blades.
Epee
Epee is the heaviest blade. Scoring is obtained through stabbing any part of the body at any point in time. Epee bouts are the longest, and require the most upper body strength and endurance.
We provide classes for every blade, for all ages and levels. Each blade is their own competitive category and has their own rules.
